Warehouse Associate


Job Summary:

Reporting to the Warehouse, Logistics and Materials Manager, the Warehouse Assocaite provides materials and equipment handling functions in a fast paced environment due diligently –shipping and receiving, operating lifting devices, regular cycle counts, storage/warehousing and timely distribution of materials required for the Operations department. The Warehouse Associate needs to report and, work under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, and handles logistics and warehouse/inventory operational functions in a processed and ethical way for Client Services.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Logistics, Materials & Inventory control functions for Warehouse and field needs.
  • Receiving of goods, Packing Slips & Shipment coordination. Processing of Commercial Invoices for international shipments and Bills of Lading.
  • Perform cycle counts on all inventories as mandated
  • Performs other unplanned duties/activities as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.


Qualification and Experience:

  • Completion of Grade 12.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of recent related experience including warehouse, logistics and responsible inventory control.
  • Knowledge and experience in safe operation of warehouse materials lifting equipment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft office including Outlook, Word & Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • Valid and clean Ontario driver’s license.


Working Conditions

  • Available for possible on call weekend  emergeny calls
  • Available for rotational shift schedule to satisfy a warehouse 24 hour coverage cycle.
