L.K. Comstock National Transit, a RailWorks company, is seeking a Document Control Specialist to join our team in Miami. 

 

Project Name: Miami-Dade Metromover Comprehensive Wayside System Overhaul

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


•    Coordinate with the project manager, discipline engineers, construction managers and the prime contractor and/or owner’s representative to manage the flow of correspondence and the storage of all required project documentation with the use of Procore.  
•    Keep the project manager informed of document control status through summary reporting including letters, RFIs, design documents with version control, change orders, contracts, quality and safety documentation and change events.
•    Support the development of a Procore SOP to standardize the way we use Procore across the company on all projects 
•    Support document control and project management audits for projects across the company
•    Develop and ensure proper document control processes are implemented on the Project for all documents and correspondence coming in and out. 
•    Maintain positive relationships with the prime contractor, engineers, owner’s representatives and peers to maintain a positive work environment.

 

Qualifications:


•    Five (5) to ten (10) years’ experience as a Project Controls or Document Control Manager or similar role. Experience with document control using Procore.
•    Thorough knowledge of and experience using Procore for project document control and project control function is a must.
•    Experience with base Microsoft Office Programs
•    Ability to meet deadlines
•    Good written and oral communication skills
•    Highly self-motivated and directed
•    Strong attention to detail 
•    Transparent communicator
•    Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities
•    Strong organization and interpersonal skills

 

Physical Requirements:


•    Willing to travel part time
•    Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines 
•    Works in an office environment
•    Frequently sits for long periods of time
•    Frequently speaks, reads, writes and uses a computer keyboard 
•    May require occasional standing, walking, lifting, stooping, or bending
